Lernex Pro feed with Praziquantel & Nitroscanate (against resistance)

Due to regulations, we unfortunately cannot send Colombo products to the United Kingdom.

We advice to order Fish Pharma Triclam or Fish Pharma Triclam Plus ( we can ship Fish Pharma Triclam to UK )

Lernex Pro feed is intended to treat worm infections when regular water treatment with Morenicol Lernex or Morenicol Lernex-Pro is not possible. This is eg in very large ponds, which are so large in terms of volume that it is not only very expensive to treat the entire volume, but due to this size a good distribution of the medicines is questionable and therefore also the effectiveness of the treatment.

Colombo Morenicol Lernex Pro food has been developed for the treatment of skin and
gill flukes in ornamental fish where no water treatment is possible, eg in large ponds. With Lernex Pro Food it is still possible to get the antiworm products at relatively low cost to where they are effective, namely in the fish. Lernex Pro Food is based on the latest scientific knowledge and contains high-quality anti-worm agents, such as Nitroscanate, Praziquantel and Flubendazole, against which no resistance has yet been built up. Lernex Food Pro is therefore effective in the treatment of all types of skin flukes ( Gyrodactylus ) and gill flukes ( Dactylogyrus ).

The presence of these parasites can only be determined under the microscope. Symptoms of an infestation with these parasites include lethargy, chafing, and a loss of appetite. Lernex Food Pro is effective against skin flukes (Gyrodactylus), gill flukes (Dactylogyrus), and internal worms (Nematodes).

Treating large ponds can be difficult and expensive, and treatments also have an effect on the water quality of the pond. With these medicinal feeds you treat the fish from the inside, very effectively with minimal use of chemicals and without harmful effects on water quality.

Dosage:

Lernex-Pro food should be fed twice a day for 2 weeks. Do not feed more than the fish eat in 5 minutes. Remove leftover food.

Lernex-Pro food is a complete fish food and contains all the necessary nutrients. In addition, Lernex-Pro feed contains a high concentration of β-glucans, pre- and probiotics for the stimulation of the immune system. Logically, this benefits the recovery of your fish after the illness.

Ensure good aeration, so that your fish have sufficient oxygen at all times.

Good water quality is essential for an optimal effect of medicines and a quick recovery of sick fish. Therefore, always test the water quality before and after treatment and correct where necessary.

breakdown:

Administered agents will naturally disappear in ponds through natural processes, such as oxidation and degradation by bacteria.

Warning:

Only for use with ornamental fish in ponds.
Keep out of reach of children. Store in the box, dry and dark between 4 and 32°C. Close lid properly.

What to do with equipment:

Leave filters, UV lamps, ozone generators, algae magnets and carbon filter on during the treatment.

Combinations:

The effect of a combination with other agents is not known. Applying more than 2
preparations in a combination is at your own risk.

General information:

Skin and gill flukes are flat sucking worms of 0.3-0.5 mm in size, which nowadays live 1250
MORENICOL LERNEX PRO FOOD regularly on our pond fish.

Gyrodactylus is the skin worm that is viviparous and can therefore reproduce quickly and massively. By crawling on the skin, it thickens and a gray slimy layer is created.

The gill fluke is called Dactylogyrus and is oviparous. It damages and irritates the gills, causing them to thicken and stop functioning properly. The fish rub their gill covers against plants and stones. With deterioration, they swim with open gill covers due to shortness of breath and may even die.

Since 1-2 years, more and more cases have become known in which skin worms (Gyrodactylus) in particular were resistant to commonly used agents, such as triclabendazole, levamisole, fenbendazole and piperazine. After extensive research, Colombo has therefore found a new anti-worm agent for fish that is effective against resistant worms: Nitroscanate. Nitroscanate is already effective at very low concentrations
single administration. To increase the effectiveness and thus reduce the risk of resistance, Nitroscanate has been combined with Flubendazole and Praziquantel.

Lernex-Pro feed is intended to treat worm infections when regular water treatment with Morenicol Lernex or Morenicol Lernex-Pro is not possible. This is eg in very large ponds, which are so large in terms of volume that it is not only very expensive to treat the entire volume, but due to this size a good distribution of the medicines is questionable and therefore also the effectiveness of the treatment. In these cases Lernex-Pro feed is a good alternative, because the active substances are administered to the fish via the feed; It is of course essential that the fish still eat. If this is not the case, the water and the fish in it must still be treated with Morenicol Lernex or Lernex-Pro, possibly in a smaller volume such as a quarantine tank.

We do not recommend the combined use of Morenicol Lernex-Pro food and Morenicol Lernex-Pro because there is a risk of overdosing on the active substances, the long-term effects of which we do not know. There is also no need for such combined use because both treatments are sufficiently effective on their own.
