LERNEX FOOD (PRO) with Praziquantel & Nitroscanate (against resistance)

Lernex-Pro food is intended to treat worm infections when regular water treatment with Morenicol Lernex or Morenicol Lernex-Pro is not possible. This is, for example, in very large ponds, which are so large in volume that it is not only very expensive to treat the entire volume, but due to this size, a good distribution of the drugs is questionable and therefore the effectiveness of the treatment.

Colombo Morenicol Lernex Food Pro has been developed for the treatment of skin and
gill worms in ornamental fish where no water treatment is possible, eg in large ponds. With Lernex Food Pro, it is still possible to get the anti-worm agents at relatively low costs where they are effective, namely in the fish. Lernex Food Pro is based on the latest scientific knowledge and contains high-quality anti-worm agents, such as Nitroscanate, Praziquantel and Flubendazole against which resistance has not yet been built up. Lernex Food Pro is therefore effective in the treatment of all types of skin worms (Gyrodactylus) and gill worms (Dactylogyrus).

The presence of these parasites can only be determined under the microscope. Symptoms of infection with these parasites include listlessness, abrasion, and decreased appetite. Lernex Food Pro is effective against skin worms (Gyrodactylus), gill worms (Dactylogyrus), and internal worms (Nematodes).

Treating large ponds can be difficult and expensive, and treatments also have an effect on the water quality of the pond. With these medicated feeds you treat the fish from the inside, very effectively with minimal use of chemicals and without harmful effects on water quality.

Dosage:

Lernex-Pro food must be fed 2x a day for 2 weeks. Do not feed more than the fish in 5 minutes. Remove remaining food.

Lernex-Pro food is a complete fish food and contains all necessary nutrients. In addition, Lernex-Pro food contains a high concentration of β-glucans, pre- and probiotics for the stimulation of the immune system. Logically, this helps the recovery of your fish after the disease.

Ensure proper aeration so that your fish have sufficient oxygen at all times.

Good water quality is essential for the optimal functioning of medicines and the rapid healing of sick fish. Therefore always test the water quality before and after the treatment and correct where necessary.

Demolition:

Administered agents will naturally disappear in ponds due to natural processes such as oxidation and degradation by bacteria.

Warning:

Only for use with ornamental fish in ponds.
Keep out of reach of children. In the box, store dry and dark between 4 and 32 ° C. Close the lid properly.

What to do with equipment:

Leave on filters, UV lamps, ozone generators, algae magnets and carbon filter during the course of treatment.

Combinations:

The effect of a combination with other agents is unknown. Applying more than 2
Preparations in a combination is at your own risk.

General information:

Skin and gill worms are flat suction worms of 0.3-0.5 mm in size, nowadays 1250
MORENICOL LERNEX PRO FOOD regularly occur on our pond fish. Gyrodactylus is the skin worm that gives birth and can therefore reproduce quickly and massively. Due to the creep on the skin, it thickens and a gray, slimy layer is created. The Gillworm is called Dactylogyrus and is egg laying. It damages and irritates the gills, causing them to thicken and no longer function properly. The fish scour their curd lids on plants and stones. In the event of deterioration, they swim because of tightness with open head covers and may even die. Since 1-2 years, more and more cases have become known in which skin worms (Gyrodactylus) in particular were resistant to commonly used agents such as triclabendazole, levamisole, fenbendazole and piperazine. Therefore, after extensive research, Colombo has found a new anti-worm remedy for fish that is effective against resistant worms: Nitroscanate. Nitroscanate is effective at very low concentrations
single administration. Nitroscanate has been combined with Flubendazole and Praziquantel to increase the effectiveness and thereby also reduce the chance of resistance. This is for example in very large ponds that are so large in volume that it is not only very expensive to treat the entire volume, but because of this size
a good distribution of the drugs is questionable and therefore also the effectiveness of the treatment. In these cases, Lernex-Pro food is a good alternative. Because the active substances are administered to the fish via the feed, it is of course essential that the fish still eat. If this is not the case, the water and the fish in it must still be treated with Morenicol Lernex or Lernex-Pro, possibly in a smaller volume such as a quarantine tank. A combined use of Morenicol Lernex-Pro
We do not recommend food and Morenicol Lernex-Pro because there is then a risk of overdosing of the active substances, the long-term effects of which we do not know. There is also no need for such a combined use because both treatments are sufficiently effective in themselves.

Application of this medication is at your own risk. For addition to the pond, first consult the package leaflet.
