Alparex is active against invisible parasites that cause a gray veil on the fish, such as Ichtyobodo (Costia), Chilodinella, Trichodina and Witte stip.

The presence of these parasites can only be determined under a microscope.

Symptoms of an infestation with these parasites include listlessness, chafing and loss of appetite. When there is a serious fungal infection in combination with the above invisible parasites, Alparex is also a suitable remedy for this.

Warning: After using Flubendazole, mebendazole and triclabendazole, a 60 day waiting period should be taken before adding Alparex to the water.

Content calculation:

Calculate the contents of the pond as best as possible: length x width x average depth in decimeters = content in liters.

Water quality:

Good water quality is essential for optimal functioning of Morenicol Alparex and rapid healing of sick fish. Therefore, always test the water quality before and after treatment and correct where necessary. The KH is especially important: it should be between 6 and 8 ° DH before starting treatment.

Dosage:

The Alparex product must be administered in two steps:

1st day: 1 ml per 40 liters of pond water or 25 ml per 1000 liters of pond water.
2nd day: again 1 ml per 40 liters of pond water or 25 ml per 1000 liters of pond water.

A measuring cup is included in the package.

Sturgeons are less tolerant to Alparex in some cases. At the same time, because of their hard skin, sturgeons are also less sensitive to the parasites against which Alparex is active. We therefore advise not to treat sturgeons, but separately with only half the dose (2 days 1 ml per 80 liters of pond water instead of 2 days 1 ml per 40 liters). If necessary, this treatment can be repeated a third time on the third day.

Measure the required amount in the measuring cup and pre-mix with water in a watering can or bucket. Then spread evenly over the pond.

Do not filter over coal or zeolite; Keep UV lamps and ozone devices switched off for up to 1 week after the last administration.

Warning:

Alparex should not be combined with Flubendazole or related substances. If the pond has been treated with Flubendazole or related substances, observe a waiting period of at least 4 weeks

As a rule, if fish can swim in it, it can be said that it is harmless for animals that only drink from it. Nevertheless, it makes sense to just feed pets dogs and cats accustomed to drinking from the pond during the cure.

Combinations:

There should be a minimum of 2 weeks between the use of Morenicol Alparex and Colombo Algadrex, Lernex, Cytofex and FMC-50. Combinations with other products is expressly at your own risk!

General information:

White spot is caused by Ichthyophthirius multifiliis. This disease mainly has a chance with reduced resistance of the fish, such as after transport, overcrowding, after water changes, after placing new fish and the like. We see white spots of affected fish
0.1 to 1 mm in size, spread or together in the skin. The fish scrape themselves on plants or stones and are sometimes shaking (with pinched fins) in the water. After loss of a lot of (breathable) skin surface, or direct damage to the gills, tightness occurs and finally death.

Morenicol Alparex contains substances that are very active against the above mentioned conditions. In addition, it has a disinfectant effect against additional bacterial infections. In case of a serious bacterial infection, it is better to work with Morenicol Cytofex. If the itching persists after treatment with Alparex, it is recommended to treat after 2 weeks with Morenicol Lernex or Lernex Pro, a specific agent against skin and gill flukes, anchor worms, fish lice and leeches.
