Important information:

We try to advise you as best as possible, but we are in no way liable for any damage, in any form whatsoever.

Your Koi can become ill due to all kinds of circumstances. The main causes of this are poor water quality and placing new koi.
It is important to recognize the symptoms of koi/fish diseases in good time.
Always check first whether your water values are in order (especially Ammonia and Nitrite values). These must be in order (nil) for all medication use.
You should always aerate extra during medication use.

Microscopic examination is necessary for a reliable diagnosis.

If you still can't figure it out after this explanation, you can MAIL us.

Below we will help you with the right choice of medicines.

*** You have a microscope: Then it is easier to determine what is bothering your koi and therefore you can also treat your koi with the right medicines.

*** You don't have a microscope or can't handle it: Then it's best to hire someone (eg Selectkoi). If you want to do it yourself, try to determine as well as possible what your koi are experiencing through what you see.

Are your fish sick, but you can't find anything with your microscope:

Then you are probably dealing with a bacterial infection. (provided there are no contaminants in the water and the water parameters are OK)

What can you see on your koi (1 or more symptoms are possible):

- Red wounds.
- Pale gills.
- 1 gill is squeezed shut.
- The fish is chafing.
- The fish jumps.
- The fish swims restlessly.
- The fish lies still on the bottom.
- The fish pinches with its fins (holds them against its body)
- There's nothing wrong with the fish.
- The fish eats little or no food.

Therapy:

It is best to have a swab cultured; unfortunately this takes a lot of time and you are then very often too late with the treatment.

Natural product (no antibiotics):

Colombo Morenicol Cytofex
