Poraglass

Super porous filter material made from the best quality quartz glass raw materials. Treated with a special heating process. Excellent for nitrification and de-nitrification (nitrate breakdown). Can be used both underwater and in trickle filters. 1 Kg. PoraGlass is equal to 2 m³ Japanese mat in filter area!

The volume of 1 Kg poraglass is 2 Ltr. It is comparable to Siporax. A good pre-filter is a must for this type of filter media!
